BeachHead Looking for Intermediate Business System Analyst –Payments/ FX at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for an Intermediate Business System Analyst –Payments/ FX who will be responsible for collecting requirements from business stakeholders around payload information within payments API’s. This candidate will document extensive process flows, diagrams and relationship tables around the flow of information. The ideal candidate will bring amazing communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders. Preferably, this person will experience on requirements for API’s as they relate to payments OR FX. Past projects documenting the anatomy and downstream parsing of an API replacing monolith services would be highly desirable.

Desired Skill Set:

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst within enterprise-level financial environments.
• 2+ years of experience engaging in end-to-end SDLC projects
• A minimum requirement of 1+ years focused on a combination of payments or FX initiatives where the candidate was specifically collecting requirements for payments or FX projects. This can include back-office payments, settlements, reconciliation or remittance involving international currencies.
• 1+ years of experience documenting specific API’s including encapsulation process, payload data and parsing of XML/XSLT to target systems.
• Knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write Queries, Selects, Look-Ups, and Joins.
• Knowledge of Postman to test API’s

Nice To Have:

• Exposure to Spots, Forwards or Options Trading in FX
• Awareness of international currency or remittance
• Familiarity with Payments
