Job Description
The Corporate Security & Resiliency team is mandated with establishing, implementing, administering and enforcing Bell Canada’s security policies.
The Bell National Incident Centre (NIC) service is a team of specialists which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order to contribute to the protection of company employees and assets. The team is the central point for surveillance and reporting for incidents which can affect the company. It also coordinates a response with the manifold responders according to pre-established impact and severity parameters.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will maintain constant communication and coordination with various business units to support the following responsibilities:
Be the single point of contact for company-related incidents and emergencies
Act as a link and work closely with emergency coordinators, investigators, Physical Security specialists, Health & Safety specialists, etc.
Manage and monitor the organization’s physical security systems (cameras, access control systems)
Provide after hours services and support to other Security teams
Critical Qualifications
The ability to serve our clients in a bilingual environment
Good verbal and written communication skills English and French
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment with rotating shifts to meet customer and business needs, either alone or as part of a team (3 X 12.5 hours)
Highly motivated and team player
The ability to deal with stressful, ambiguous or unforeseen situations and be able to identify and prioritize emergencies
Strong interpersonal skills to cooperate with a diverse customer base
Strong moral responsibility in terms of professionalism and integrity towards the company
Excellent general knowledge of computer systems and an ability to work in a highly technological environment
Preferred Qualifications
Past Experience in an emergency operations, physical security, telecommunications or access control environment
An understanding of the telecommunications network and general business functions
Post-secondary education in Emergency Management, Telecommunication or Security
