Responsibilities and duties:
* Answering phone calls.
* Patient check-in and patient bookings in EMR.
* Updating patient demographics.
* Filing electronic faxes and scans.
* Escorting patients to exam rooms.
* Opening and closing clinic.
* Obtaining patient vitals, and charting them in EMR.
* Sterilizing instruments via autoclave.
* Ensuring worklist is up to date and being worked on daily.
* Booking specialist appointments and outside referrals.
* Ensuring clinic is clean.
Work Experience:
* Minimum 1 Year in a medical clinic.
Qualifications and Skills:
* MOA Certificate from a recognized institute (preferred).
* Knowledge of health administrative practices and ability to adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and systems is preferred.
* Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel & EMR
* Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize
* Knowledge and/or experience with Healthquest EMR . Health-quest is a must. Minimum 1 year experience
