Bemac Collision Group has an immediate opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in a well-established, progressively growing group of companies. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner.

Reports to The Financial Controller
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Sort master accounting email and forward required email to appropriate shop/department
· Post non-inventory bills and forward them to controller for direct payment (utilities, taxes, shop overhead bills)
· Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data
· Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements. Enter new or update vendor names and data
· Ensure to take a discount before printing a cheque
· Segment all cheques and mail them out on timely manner
· Reconcile multiple corporate credit cards
· Co-ordinate with vendors in a courteous manner if needed
· Keep filing up to date including hard copy and electronic
· Make inter-company transaction as required
· Keep tracking e-billing for utilities, phones, water, and gas card accounts
· Monthly reconciliation of outstanding unpaid bills for each company
· Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
· Proficient with spreadsheets and database software (Quickbooks, Bodyshop Connect)
· Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures
Additional duties:
· Oversee office supplies and order them according to the including postal stamp
· Prepare bank deposits
· Prepare HST, WSIB, EHT filings
· Assist controller as they assigned additional tasks
Skills and Experience:
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
· Previous accounts payable experience preferred
