This is an Entry Level position
General Description of Role
Assists in coordinating and executing the day to day operational functions of the company while providing “best in class” customer service.
This is an entry level position with opportunity for growth within the organization.
Specific Accountabilities
- Works with the Tracing Lead to ensure all shipments are tracked daily while updating the operation system.
- Assists the operations team with dispatch functions as required including Order Entry, dispatching, labelling and BOL creation.
- Assists the warehouse as required with order processing and customer requests.
- Responsible for accurately/proactively entering data into the operating system.
- Interacts with carriers on a daily basis while immediately seeking solutions to issues that may arise.
- Responsible for learning and following processes and procedures in place for individual customers as it relates to this position. Actively seeks this information if not readily available.
- Responsible for adhering to PIP procedures to ensure the overall security of freight and facility.
- Responsible for completing any other responsibilities as delegated to them by senior management.
- Must ensure that all clients and vendors are treated with honesty, integrity and respect
Required skills
- Fluent in written and oral English (French an asset)
- Must be able to operate in a fast pace environment
- Must be able to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 an asset
- Attention to detail required
- Must be a quick learner
- Must be fully vaccinated
The successful candidate must obtain a police background check prior to start of employment. 100% company paid benefits available after 3 month probationary period.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $37,500.00-$45,000.00 per year
