Our client, a well-established construction contractor is seeking a Site Manager based around the Stockton-on-Tees area. Having just secured some new tenders with large housing developers this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to come on board covering the North East, Yorkshire and Humber areas.
The successful Site Manager will be a driven individual and must have civils / groundworks experience working on housing developments.

Site Manager Position Overview
- Reading, interpreting and providing clear communications of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements.
- Ensuring that the setting put is accurate, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site.
- Effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programme deadlines are met.
- Developing effective relationships and dealing with clients and subcontractors.
- Working closely with all other team members to ensure that the quality, environmental and health & safety aspects of the work are adhered to during our project phase on site.
Site Manager Position Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Civils / groundworks experience working on housing developments.
- Full driving license
- Well-presented and articulate
- SMSTS & CSCS
- Health & Safety & Environmental procedures
