Alpha Equities seeks an in-house Personal Assistant to help our President with his personal and family administrative needs. They’ll be highly organized in handling communications, appointments, and administrative tasks. They’ll have a warm sense of family and will be able to build a strong relationship with the President.
We are a very positive, common-sense group of people. We seek someone with strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication in English. Fluency in Cantonese is an asset.
Our ideal candidate can prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. You must be ethical and trustworthy, able to exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information. You’ll be given a company vehicle to help you make everyone’s life easier.
Our hiring process is simple. Candidates with the correct skill set will have a first interview with our recruiting team. If successful, they’ll have a second and final interview with the hiring manager, followed by a job offer should that interview be successful.
How You’ll Help
- Handling and preparing personal communications, including phone calls, emails, and letters on the President’s behalf
- Coordinating appointments, reservations, and other meetings
- Performing administrative tasks, including gathering invoices, bills, and making payments
- Assisting with shopping, including in-store and online
- Drive a company vehicle as required to complete errands and attend appointments and meetings
- Ensuring repairs and other maintenance matters are tended to and executed
- Other duties as prescribed
Hours
- Part-time at an average of 4 hours per day
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed
- Strong verbal and written skills in English, literacy in Cantonese is a preferred trait
- Experience working as a Personal Assistant or similar position with references
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality, security, and privacy
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract
- A relevant college or university is an asset
