Between Bridges Inn Looking for Hotel Clerk at Geraldton, ON Full Time

Between Bridges Inn is a premier hotel situated on Canada’s 1 Highway 5 minutes from Geraldton. We have a beautiful licensed restaurant with 19 guest rooms and a separate house with 4 rental suites. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, team player who can assist with guest check-in and provide excellent customer service.

$500 retention bonus given after 90 days and 200 hours worked

Duties:

• Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere, friendly manner.
• Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure.
• Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts.
• Anticipating and addressing guests’ needs, and resolving their problems and complaints.
• Assisting the reservations manager with taking reservations. Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Complying with company procedures and safety policies.
• Performing other required duties such as help with cleaning on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
• 1+ years front desk agent experience preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Available to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
