We are excited to grow our team with a new full-time role for a Sales Operations Specialist.
What you will do:
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for enabling sales operational efficiencies and data-driven decision making while promoting a world-class sales organization. Process and tool driven, this role collaborates with key stakeholders to streamline sales processes, provide training and documentation, and establish adoption of sales process best practices. The Sales Operations Specialist is a master of the CRM and data integrity, ensuring compliance for accurate data reporting and sales metrics. Acting as a primary point of contact for our sales team, the Sales Operations Specialist provides administrative support preparing proposals, quotes, and various other troubleshooting and requests as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Process & Tools
Develop a deep working knowledge of all sales functions, teams, and processes.
Execute and launch tooling and process changes in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, while providing support for documentation, training, and adoption.
Lead and champion best practices to enforce accountability for end-to-end execution.
Enforce compliance and completeness across sales processes, ensuring good data hygiene for reliable and accurate sales metrics and reporting.
Optimize the usage and adoption of our sales organization’s tech stack.
Be a subject matter expert for sales support activities including proposal management, pricing, deal management, and sales process in CRM.
Enablement & Knowledge Management
Execute and coordinate training and enablement sessions for the sales team and how to apply knowledge of our sales processes and tools.
Enable the sales team to leverage, adapt, and adhere to core sales processes and tools.
Identify opportunities for learning and be the custodian of all sales content and collateral.
Provide administrative support for the sales team in the sales cycle by preparing proposals, quotes, etc.
Support our sales team as the primary point of contact for daily troubleshooting and requests ie. Sending reseller agreements, following-up on NDAs, providing case studies, etc.
Data & Reporting
Maintain data quality and integrity for the sales team in CRM.
Simplify and optimize reports and relevant material for the sales and leadership teams.
Streamline CRM data for efficiency and ease of process adoption.
Work closely with stakeholders to define business problems and scope requirements to solve for identified key gaps and inefficiencies.
Partner with key stakeholders and the sales team to support and develop KPIs, reporting, and metrics reviews.
Monitor and interpret key performance metrics and share insights using meaningful reporting dashboards to allow information to be presented and consumed easily.
Technical Skills & Other Requirements:
Technically proficient with a willingness to embrace new technology and tools.
Experience with CRM data entry, training, and best practice.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Operational thinker with strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with internal business stakeholders, following up when necessary.
Comfortable collaborating with various interconnected teams including sales, marketing, professional services, support, and finance.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Process and detail driven, with the ability to assist in sales rep training, and enforcing industry best practice and policy adoption.
Flexible to assist in addressing a variety of ad hoc requests and provide sales team support.
Takes initiative to connect with various stakeholders or partners and move tasks or projects forward.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or analysis-based discipline. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-5 years hands on experience in a sales operation’s role.
2+ years business administration experience in a complex sales invoicing environment (ie. multi-departmental, multiple divisions, etc.).
Experience working in a global SaaS organization.
Strong financial acumen.
