We are seeking a student to join us for a 6-month co-op position starting in May 2023. This position will be based out of any of Bird’s Canadian locations such as Calgary, AB, Winnipeg, MB, Montreal, QC.
What You’ll Be Working On
Our internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility, while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. We’ll help you discover your strengths and development areas in a challenging, fun, and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
Work with business stakeholders to analyze current processes and future needs.
Conduct gap analyses, develop requirements and provide guidance in solution development.
Proactively propose process improvements to the business based on software capabilities.
Provide support for business applications.
Investigate and analyze application problems and assist vendor resources in understanding and resolving the problem where applicable.
Assist the development team as needed, providing clarification on requirements and input to proposed solutions.
Conduct system testing of internal and vendor-provided fixes, enhancements and assist the business users in developing test scripts.
Support business testers during User Acceptance Testing.
Create and maintain documentation and training material for application and process change, ensuring that business users have useful reference materials for complex or new processes.
Store documentation in the appropriate repository as per company standards.
Lead the change management process for assigned work and conduct end user training as required.
Who We Need On Our Team
You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Business Analysis, or related discipline.
You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or one of our wholly owned subsidiaries
If you are selected for a role in a safety-sensitive position, you will be required to successfully complete a Medical and/or Alcohol & Drug tests
