Job Summary: *
The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, legal, reporting and compliance. The candidate must be operationally minded and work closely with all departments within the organization in order to ensure all aspects of budgets and internal financial controls are met. Creates and monitors policies and procedures for compliance, and recommends improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leading M&A process: Analysis of targets, setting up data rooms, due diligence, integration of acquisitions
• Oversea all aspects of finance and accounting across the organization
• Lead and mentor accounting staff team of 10
• Work with auditors in Canada, USA, and Europe
• Develop forecasting and budgeting model
• Manage the preparation of all financial reports and forecasts
• Develop, update, and ensure adherence to finance policies & procedures
• Develop data room and monthly finance reporting templates
• Lead Q of E
• International Transfer Pricing
• Job costing analysis, template generation, and roll out
• Grouping the international financial reporting of ten entities
• Operational relationship with bankers and other lenders for routine reporting requirements
• Drive process improvement initiatives identify opportunities to improve efficiencies operationally and financially
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
• Establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
• Any other tasks called upon by management to perform in this role
• Oversee and collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure ROI
• Oversee and enforce strict budget adherence by all departments
• Visit European office and sturdy operation end-to-end
• Oversee and maintain all legal matters across the organization
• Develop new systems and processes and over sea all implementation
• Manage the preparation of all financial reports and forecasts

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting/Finance
• CPA in Canada
• 3+ year experience in public accounting
• 10+ years industry experience
• 5+ years as lead finance
• MRR or ARR industry experience
• Strong business process and strategy experience within the Tech service industry
• 5+ experience handling technology inventory
• Leadership mentality with the drive to grow, adapt and execute plans
• QuickBooks deep hands on experience
• Excellent writing and communication skills

This role will require the candidate to complete background checks (includes but not limited to: references, educational verification, criminal check, credit check – where applicable). Certain roles may also require testing.
