Skilled Construction Worker
Our growing company is looking for a hard-working and skilled construction worker to help bring our construction plans to life! Under our construction manager’s direction, you will work alongside a team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen, and apply your knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track. You must have previous job-site experience, and have a great work ethic and physical stamina. If this sounds like you, apply now!
Compensation:
$20 – $35 hourly
Responsibilities:
Adhere to all directions from the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately
Carry, load, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, saws, lumber, tile, grout, etc.
Assist sub-contractors, tradesmen, and craft workers like roofers, plasterers, carpenters, painters, and electricians as needed
Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as jackhammers and SDS drills as needed.
Keep job sites clean and safe by removing debris and organizing materials and tools.
Qualifications:
Possess a valid drivers license
Solid mechanical skills are needed, as are good eye-hand coordination and depth perception
A high school diploma or equivalent is required – Trade certification, associate’s degree, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred
This position relies on physical strength and stamina
Previous construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools and equipment, and an understanding of blueprints and construction plans is required
Able to work in inclement weather like extreme temperatures, rain, etc.
