The Analyst/Research Coordinator is located in Markham, ON and typically reports directly to the Senior Director, Business Development & Pursuits.
As an Analyst & Research Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in gathering, analyzing, and presenting crucial data and insights that help drive and inform our business development efforts. This role will involve tasks such as competitor analysis, market research, subcontractor database management, trend monitoring, and bid coordination. We’re seeking someone with a keen interest in learning, strong analytical skills, and a desire to grow in a supportive environment. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide thorough research and other coordination tasks for the Business Development & Pursuits team in accordance with company objectives and strategies
Competitor analysis: Assist in conducting comprehensive competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the facilities management industry. Provide actionable insights to help our team develop competitive strategies.
Market and Economy Analysis: Support the team in researching and analyzing regional and national economic trends affecting the facilities management sector in Canada. Deliver reports and recommendations to guide our expansion efforts.
Subcontractor Database Management: Maintain and update a database of vetted subcontractors, ensuring that we have a pool of reliable partners to choose from for project needs..
Industry Trends Monitoring: Stay up to date with industry micro and macro trends, challenges, and opportunities. Assist in analyzing their potential impact on our business and share insights with the team.
Emerging Technologies: Stay informed about emerging technologies and innovations in facilities management. Take part in exploring their potential applications to our services and contribute to discussions on potential adoption.
Bid Coordination Support: Provide assistance as required in coordinating bids and pursuits by conducting research, gathering information, and collaborating with team members to support the bidding process.
Communication: Articulately communicate research findings, market insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients. Collaborate effectively with team members to contribute to driving informed decision-making.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field (or currently pursuing one). University or College.
If you are recently graduated, include a brief cover letter explaining your interest in the position and any relevant coursework or experiences.
Knowledge of the facilities or property management industry is a bonus but not required.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
