The National Billing Analyst is located in Markham, ON and typically reports directly to the Manager, National Accounts or designate. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accurate invoicing of customers, therefore reducing the number of complaints from customers regarding billing errors
Coordinating processes and deadlines with multiple regional entities/individuals
Provide monthly and ad hoc billing analytics to National Managers
Constant identification/analysis of potential improvements in meeting financial reporting requirements and information needs as per the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Collect and analyze information through reports and data extractions through JD Edwards (JDE) to assist with cost, revenue and profitability management
Investigate process systems/process-related problems/inquiries and recommend solutions as part of internal strategic initiatives
Periodic reporting for compliance of contractual obligations with internal and external clients
Coding and reconciling payments to JDE
Preparing of documentation to assist Accounts Receivable/Payable (e.g., Invoices, Purchase Orders, etc.)
Timely review, printing, and delivery of invoices
Engage partners in billing, A/R management, and collections activities
Assist the manager in planning and scheduling
Assist with material/equipment procurement
Manage JDE Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Handle customer calls in a polite and efficient manner
Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced, and changing environment
Documentation control— manage photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing
Responsible for project administration tasks, including coordinating meetings, taking meeting minutes, compiling monthly reports, forwarding communication releases, and performing maintenance of project tracking logs (i.e., issues, change, control, etc.)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
3–5 years’ experience in accounting and/or relevant financial management experience (e.g., billing, A/R management, financial reporting and analysis etc.)
Experience in facilities services and/or construction management administration; preferred
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Proven interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes including a numerical aptitude
Innovative while implementing and adapting to change
Strong written and oral communication skills, required to collaborate with multiple divisions across Canada
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Demonstrates a commitment to providing excellent client service by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients
Demonstrates ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
Confidence in ability to work in a highly technical, multi-tasked, fast-paced and changing work environment
Ability to work well under pressure
