Position Responsibilities:
Lead the Currents Restaurant service team, inspiring high service standards with appropriate coaching and mentoring.
Ensure the Guests’ culinary adventures at our Restaurants are extraordinary.
Manage the ever important administrative side of things, including staff scheduling, managing gratuities, booking large groups, ordering supplies and working with a budget.
Adapt service offerings to the seasons, which run from lively over the peak of summer to cozy and personalized through the stormy winter (a great time to get creative with special events and exclusive offerings!)
Collaborate with the Management Team to build a seamless and impressive overall Guest experience.
Competencies Required:
Education/Experience
3+ years restaurant experience in a leadership role
Responsible Beverage Service Certificate (Serving It Right) required
WSET Level 2 or equivalent
Standard cash handling
FOODSAFE certification is an asset
Some formal Hospitality Industry education is an asset
Experience working in the kitchen is an asset
Skills
Exceptional customer service sills and standards
Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, stay organized and thrive in a busy service environment
Flexible availability
Team-minded attitude
Able to Lift/Move up to 40 lbs.
