This role will be responsible for many aspects of the day to day operations of the maintenance department. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to respond and action demand service requests, execute PM work and to maintain and service the pools and tubs on resort. WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• General repair and maintenance of machines, equipment, guest rooms and buildings
• Basic Electrical
• Basic Plumbing
• General Carpentry
• Pool & Hot Tub maintenance (as required)
• Clean, adjust and perform minor repairs to swimming pools and hot tubs (as required)
• Painting, wallpapering, tiling
• Enhancing the guest experience by representing Blue Mountain Resorts with a courteous and customer service centered demeanor at all times

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

• General knowledge and experience in building trades (carpentry, drywall, plumbing, framing, electrical etc.)
• Basic Computer/Typing skills
• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification an asset
• On-site construction experience an asset
• Previous experience with pool maintenance an asset
• Work experience in commercial and residential painting, wallpapering, ceramic tile application, drywall installation, drywall patching, stucco, stipple, and fine wood finishing or refinishing an asset
