WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Assist with the scheduling, training, performance management, evaluations and feedback of the Terrain Park Staff
Assist with: opening and closing procedures, daily logs, maintenance of hits, features, fencing and dye marking, assisting groomers and other general maintenance duties
Develop and build new features, take-offs and landings, install rails, or improve existing features. Must also be able to test features that have been built
Inspection, maintenance and inventory of terrain park features, rails, boxes, signage and other equipment and tools
Monitoring and audit work of terrain park crew, conditions of park, and staff facilities to assure BMR standards in maintenance of Terrain Park
Assist in execution of all BMR on hill events both in and out of the park
Assist with the audit of BMR policies and procedures on an ongoing basis
Making safety the number one priority – ensuring everyone is conducting themselves appropriately in the workplace and educating the public and staff in the park.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
Strong skier / snowboarder and enthusiastic, active user of terrain parks
Must possess excellent employee and public relations skills and be of a friendly and co-operative nature
Must be responsible, have excellent communication skills and able to direct the work of others
Must be 18 years of age
Snowmobile and BMR equipment certified an asset
Basic computer skills for spreadsheets and day to day operations
Valid G class driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract
