We are looking for a QA Engineer – Remote to join the R & D team! Reporting to the Director of R & D, the ideal candidate will support our product by maintaining a high standard for Quality Assurance. You will be part of a highly proficient team with the opportunity to contribute at all stages of product development while learning key insights in top notch technologies. This is a full-time, permanent position. We are a remote work environment and prefer to fill this role with a candidate in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test cases for different components (Web / Mobile / Backend)
- Understand how components interact with each other to identify issues quickly and precisely
- Escalate issues, as required, with clarity and precision
- Help improve and define the QA processes
- Participate in tasks estimation
- Help to automate test cases on all components
- Other related duties and tasks as assigned, including special projects as they arise
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience working in QA, or similar role
- Experience testing mobile/web applications and APIs
- Experience using JIRA
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience using testing tools (Postman, Charles, Chrome Dev Tools, or others)
- Basic programming skills to write automated tests when infrastructure is provided
- Knowledge and comfort in working in an agile environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to set priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required
- Home office, free from distractions to work remotely
Nice to Have:
- Gaming or comparable tech industry experience
- An understanding of social casino games
