In your role, you will:

• Lead Aircraft Structure Design engineering activities (metallic & composite) of clean sheet Aircraft

• Work Closely with Advanced Design, Aerodynamics departments to study and optimize aircraft configurations

• Prepare and assess feasibility of technical trade studies.

• Work closely with System Engineering for Structure / System integration

• Lead design engineering activities for major interfaces between Structural / Systems Suppliers.

• Define and Direct Structural and System installation engineering-related requirements (aircraft level up to TRD 6 and Higher)

• Evaluate and propose best manufacturing and assembly technologies.

• Overview Suppliers activities to ensure compliance to BA engineering requirements and Design methodologies and rules.

• Guide and lead Engineering services providers / suppliers

• Elaborate risk management matrix and mitigation plans

• Familiar with problem solving, establish recovery plans to meet deadlines.

• Define strategy for achieving projects goals: content, scope of work, costs, risks.

• Provide visibility to management as needed.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You hold a university degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent College degree in Aeronautical

• You have more than 12 years of experience in aerospace design; advanced knowledge in aircraft structures and structures integration.

• You have more than 5 years of Experience in Wing and Flight Surfaces design

• You have a very strong knowledge and experience with CATIA V5

• You are familiar with NX and Team Center (asset)

• You have knowledge in the manufacturing processes of the aerospace industry

• You are autonomous, result-driven, and enthusiastic with strong work ethic

• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience. You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork.

• You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
