The Position:
The P&C Coordinator provides support to the People and Culture team. You will assist P&C team members with recruitment admin, maintain employee records, and provide administrative support to all employees.
Compensation includes equitable pay based on experience, benefits plan and health spending account.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare documents related to employee life cycle changes
- Organization, maintenance of personnel files in dropbox
- Update internal HRIS database with new hires and employee changes
- Enter employee data within the HRIS system
- Prepare HR documents and assist with onboarding employees
- Provide admin support to the Talent Acquisition Team, HR Business Partners, and Workforce Logistics Team
- Assist with reporting and tracking of key metrics
- Manage internal HR enquiries and escalate and track as required Coordinate new hires’ tech, travel, onboarding, and orientation requirements
- Preforming reference checks and pulling drivers abstract
- Other projects and duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year HR Coordinator experience, or related experience
- Some experience with HRIS and payroll data entry preferable
- post-secondary education in Human Resources or similar considered an asset.
Key Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Basic understanding of employee lifecycle management and key HR functions
- Ability to juggle priorities and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Detailed and accurate data entry and record keeping experience
- HR document and letter drafting, using templates
- Use of Dropbox or SharePoint digital filing system
- Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to both take initiative and follow up as needed
Other Relevant Information
- This position is assigned primarily to the office, with option for some remote work
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- While performing the duties of this job, Physical Demands will include prolonged standing, walking and/or sitting, use of hand dexterity, hearing and eyesight.
