Position Description: Community Food & Beverage Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Term and Hours of Work: Permanent Full-time, 36 hours per week
Compensation: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour based on experience and skills + tips

Position Overview:
Governed by the Vision, Mission and Values of the Community Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of all the Food and Beverage facilities within the Bowness Community Centre, including The Landing daytime and evening, concession, and main kitchen. Key accountabilities of this position include running daily operations with a focus on building the team and expanding operations, oversight of Food & Beverage staff, developing and implementing menus, programs and events related to food, and providing exceptional customer service.
This position is an essential part of the Community team and works collaboratively with all staff, volunteers and other stakeholders of the Community Association. The position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, primarily on site at the Bowness Community Association, however hours may be divided between office, home, meetings and events so some flexibility in schedule is important. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude who has a passion for giving back to the community.
