As a Design Engineer based in either Alberta, Canada or Mesa, Arizona you will be responsible for providing high level technical support to customers as well as understanding issues and communicating those to the Engineering Team. You will also assist in sourcing engineering inputs to provide the development of innovative, technically sound, cost-effective solutions to meet and exceed customer requirements. You will be able to provide design and engineering expertise to ensure best in class product designs that comply with applicable International Quality and Manufacturing Standards.
You will be responsible for delivering proposals, performing solid modelling, detailed drafting, analysis/simulation, site based reverse engineering and other technical requirements for product offerings for Bradken. As a Design Engineer, you will participate in project planning by investigating, documenting market trends, pain points and development/innovation opportunities.
You will ensure all information regarding products/specifications is captured in the Product Lifecycle Management System and effectively disseminate to relevant stakeholders and customers. Provide feedback on product performance/customer satisfaction and technical support to the sales team.
As a strong problem solver, you will use your advanced analytical skills and attention to detail to find innovative solutions that are compliant with quality systems and Bradken standards. You will work effectively and make decisions in collaboration with others internally and externally to achieve results.
