BrandBastion Looking for Content Marketer at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

We’re looking for an innovative, fast moving and great communicator to create and lead this effort at BrandBastion.

What you will do:

You will be reporting to the CEO for this project which includes the following;

• Cold outreach to potential podcast guests through email, LinkedIn and Twitter
• Creating the format for the podcast
• Filming the episodes over Zoom, interviewing the guests
• Transcribing episodes into written blog posts and optimizing them for SEO
• Editing (or using freelancer to edit) Zoom videos so they can go live on our Youtube channel
• Providing the podcast guests with material they can post on their social channels after filming
• Posting content on our social channels and website
• Sending customized and personal follow-up gift to podcast guests

In addition to creating and leading our new Community Corner podcast, you will also be:

• Creating and hosting monthly training for the BrandBastion’s core team (45 remote team members) on LinkedIn and how team members can start creating content for their personal LinkedIn accounts
• Helping leadership team create content to post on their personal LinkedIn accounts
• Tracking progress across the org in this regard
• Creating content to build BrandBastion’s employer brand

Requirements:

• Prior experience in creating content for social media
• Previous experience in social media management – community management – paid media management and/or content marketing is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High integrity, great emotional intelligence, able to represent BrandBastion well in all interactions
• Hard worker, resilient, with the attitude ‘I’ll find a way to make this happen’
• Able to work very independently in a remote first workplace
