We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Café Assistant to lead our all-new café team at Ducati Bournemouth. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary with bonus opportunity.
About The Café Assistant Role
Our Brand New Ducati Showroom opened at Easter and offers an immersive Ducati experience; the latest range of Ducati and Ducati Scrambler models, apparel, parts and accessories alongside a state of the art Café.
As our Café Assistant, you will need to have outstanding customer service skills as you will be dealing with customers who expect and appreciate a high level of service through our experienced and dedicated Ducati staff. A people person who also has a passion for motorcycling with the ability to multitask with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude is a must!
Flexibility to cover holidays and work additional hours will be necessary to meet the needs of the business.
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 8.30am-1.30pm
Responsibilities As OurCafé Assistant Will Include
- Welcoming customers
- Refreshments offered to all visitors
- Café to be cleaned throughout the day, including tables and coffee machine
- Customers have everything they need to have an enjoyable coffee or light bite to eat
- Arranging for the coffee machine and other café equipment to be regularly serviced
- Ordering café stock and cleaning products
- Advising customers on merchandise and apparel
- Managing the customer’s experience whilst they are visiting the business, ensuring they receive exceptional customer service throughout their visit
What We’re Looking For In Our Café Assistant
- Experience in a similar role or hospitality background
- Barista trained – would be desirable
- Experience and passion for all things associated with motorcycling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm and positive attitude in unplanned situationsExceptional organisational

- Team player
- Professional and courteous manner
- Full, clean driving license
