BRIMICH Logistics and Packaging Inc Looking for Warehouse Sanitation – Night & Weekend shifts at Brantford, ON Full Time

• Weekend shift: 7am-5pm, Thursday-Sunday / Pay rate: $18/hour + $1 weekend shift premium
• Night shifts: 11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday/ Pay rate: $18/hour + $1 night shift premium

Job Summary Statement:

Responsible for all cleaning and sanitizing tasks in designated areas. Cleaning tasks include but are not limited to disinfecting high traffic touch points, dusting, washroom cleaning, emptying and cleaning waste receptacles, clean floor surfaces with floor scrubber, vacuuming carpeted areas, etc. Special attention must be given to food grade areas to ensure we are in compliance with Food Grade and HACCP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleans and sanitizes all food grade areas in accordance with Food Grade & HACCP Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures
• Sweep/Swiffer, mop/wash floors
• Dust furniture (desks, photocopiers) and vacuum area rugs
• Sanitize windows, light switches, doors and handles, and walls
• Clean, and disinfect kitchen/lunchrooms and bathroom areas and fixtures/appliances (sinks, toilets, refrigerator, etc)
• Pick up debris and empty all trash containers
• Restock single unit dispensers containing soap, paper towel, and toilet paper as needed
• Keep a weekly inventory of all consumables such as paper towel, toilet paper and cleaning supplies
• Operate Floor Scrubber
• Responsible for keeping the floor scrubber in working order and reporting to management any issues.
• Wears personal protective equipment as required at all times. These include safety shoes, gloves, etc.

• Comply with the designated HACCP responsibilities and SQF procedures related to effective environmental management in accordance with Brimich HACCP Program and SQF Program
• Reports to management any damages to the facility or damage to customer product or Brimich property
• Follows the guidelines and rules as set out by the company policies
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies:

• Grade 12 High school education or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
• Complete and pass training to operate Floor Scrubber
• Good attendance record
• Assigns the highest priority to customer satisfaction while meeting commitments to achieve business objectives.
• Practices and maintains integrity.
• Capable of regular safe lifting up to 60lbs
• Must possess a strong attention to detail in order to thoroughly clean facilities
• Ability to stay motivated when completing daily tasks
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision
• Exercise judgement and discretion when in the presence of sensitive client information
