BCIT’s Operations Management Department is seeking a temporary, part-time (0.75 FTE, 11.25 hours) Faculty, Operations Management – Business Operations Management available in its day school to teach courses relating to Business Operations Management.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Recent leadership experience in the manufacturing, healthcare, or service sectors,
Current experience involving the application of the subject areas,
Masters Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience,
Experience teaching in a post-secondary institution,
Ability to work in a collegial environment, and
Ability to teach in two or more of the following areas:
Operations Management
Enterprise Resource Planning and Systems
Project Management
Business Consulting Projects (Process Improvement or Concept Development)
Theory of Constraints
Lean
Total Quality Management
Supply Chain Management
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, and
Membership or certification in appropriate professional bodies (e.g. ASCM, PMI, SCMA, ASQ)

Salary Range Salary Range: $56,845 – $99,571 per annum.
Additional Salary Information
Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
