TheIntermediateProject Manager(PM)willexecuteproject specific tasksormanagefull project execution frominceptionto closeoutfor one or several Internet Service Providers (ISPs)as directed by the Senior Project Manager.The Intermediate PMwill work in concert withtheSenior PMtooverseetheday-to-day operations of theISPs broadband portfolio andassistin the development and strengthening of the strategic partnershipwiththe Client.TheIntermediate PMwillwork closely withtheSeniorPMto deliver construction project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, proposals, estimates, documentation turnover, client relations/management, field staff and other dutiesrequiredto execute Construction Management, Construction, and Program Management projects.
TheIntermediatePM willbe assigned the responsibilityto manageeither discrete partsor allaspects ofa broadband Joint-Use project,at the discretionof the Senior PM andLead Project Managerto enable thesuccessful completion of projects within specifieddates andestablishing and maintaining a professional and satisfactory relationship withClient, the ISP(s), subcontractors, regulatoryagenciesand other project stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop contractor ‘scope of work’ by compiling information provided bythe Client’s distribution lead.
Issue RFQ/RFP forthe Client’s EPC providers.
ProvideAdministration of RFQ/RFP including (asrequired) site meetings, clarifications,tenderand close out.
Act as the Owner’s Agent, providing PM services for the execution of work associated withthe Client’sapproved joint use applications.
Reviewpermitsubmissions fromISPstofacilitatebundling of work.
Complete cost sharing calculations andfacilitateinvoicing processes.
Develop andmonitorproject schedules, manage scope, and control project costs.
Assistwith internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, risk management, change management, and human resource issues.
Serve as theas theprimary point of contact withclientregardingefforts such as client coordination, strategic planning,masterscopemanagement, budget finances, subcontracting, project staffing, environmental compliance, facility support and schedule attainment.
Manage all aspects of project communication.
Develop and implement project policies and procedures,establishproject controlssystemsand implement the project execution plan.
Work closely with the Project Team to ensure deliverables and services are being provided toClient’ssatisfaction and that projects are following internal QA/QC guidelines.
Review, approve, and communicate internal and external reports including project budgeting, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports.Present reports tothe LeadProject Manager, Program Manager as well as internal and external executive management as required.
Responsible forfacilitatingproject cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structure establishment,project set-up and closeout, and field progress tracking specific to construction and construction related activities or program level activities asrequired.
Develop and oversee materials receiving and management process, including inventory control, receipt of goods, storage, and transportation asrequired.
Review contract documents with field staff to verify compliance of subcontractors and client contractors, safety and health requirements, quality, and schedule.
Adhere to company’s safety programs, trainings, and policies, as well as promote and manage the Safety & Health performance of project team members andsubcontractors.
Report regularly on progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, design questions, potential impacts, and any issues requiring office support.
Other related duties as the needs are identified.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction, Construction Management or a related field.
Minimum ofseven (7)years of project management experience.
Professional Engineering (Peng) registration preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry,governmentand public contracts on project-related matters.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills.and attention to detail.
Ability to travel. Valid driver’s licenserequired.
Excellent computer skills andproficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,PowerPointand Access).
Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Multiple years of experience on construction project sites or executing program management in the industriesofenergy,or,transmission & distribution is preferred.
A basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles isrequired.
Must be able to meet the company’s driving requirements.
