We are looking for a booking coordinator who will release ocean bookings with ocean carriers via intrnal systems and submit shipping instructions to External Partners.
Responsibilities
Release ocean bookings with ocean carriers via internal systems.
Submit shipping instructions to External Partners.
Review carrier booking reports and manage any exceptions (cancellations, status change, etc)
Ensure ocean freight payments are accurately processed in a timely manner.
Provide administrative coordination, communication, and document control for assigned project(s).
Ability to track and update Ocean Vessel status.
Prepares import documentation for data entry.
Correspond with internal and external clients / customers / vendors via email.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience of Importing/Freight Forwarding
2 + years in related work experience.
Proficient in Excel.
Detail oriented for processing bookings and data entry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present and communicate with all levels within the organization, with agencies and vendors.
Excellent multi-tasking capability, highly organized and high attention to detail are required due to complexity and volume of operations.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities, meet demanding deadlines and adjust to sudden changes in workflow.
The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of efficiency and accuracy

Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
PC Headset
High-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
