This position is all about schedule utilization to maximize production efficiencies. You have experience working with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to manage MRP utilization, using our software: SYSPRO, to achieve system integration.
The primary objective of this position is to create sub-work orders, close sub-work orders (including issuing the material to them), manage the flow of sub-work orders to the floor, and then follow up on their return. This position is also enabling/supporting and reinforcing the timely issuing of material to the top-level work orders as production moves through the various operations.
The work is in an office environment and will require you to be out in the production area as required. You are technically inclined and like to dig in and understand the various systems, leveraging the functionality where possible. You identify opportunities to maximize efficiency where possible by grouping like jobs, keeping in mind batch quantities.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and scheduling skills and will be able to plan work in advance to achieve the best results. You are thorough and ensure nothing gets missed by building in checks to validate success.
