The role we are offering you:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hardware Development Lead to join the Healthcare Hardware Engineering team under the Global Hardware Engineering organization. This position requires a unique blend of strong technical and business knowledge, strategic thinking, solid interpersonal communication skills, along with awareness of technology and industry trends.
The Healthcare Hardware Engineering department’s mission is to deliver educational tools that help healthcare professionals provide safe, high quality patient care. In a development environment that includes multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for the complete hardware development cycle from requirements phase, production to supporting deliveries to our customers. Are you ready to:
Be responsible of the development Budget.
Be responsible of the development Schedule.
Be responsible for the overall project delivery.
Review/track project progress, milestones and gates (health status).
Work with multidisciplinary teams both internal and external to the department.
Work with Resource Managers.
Our ideal candidate has:
Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Several years experience at CAE an asset.
Dynamic team player with sense of initiative. Results-oriented, has good team spirit.
Good oral and written communication skills, leadership, good team spirit and process management skills.
Effective time management and multitasking skills. Ability to manage risk, project scope, and resources.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to change.
Availability to travel.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
