Job Description: Trade Administrator – Operations Trade Settlements
Location: Toronto, ON
Structure: Hybrid Model (2x a week)
Role Status: Year-long contract with potential for extension or conversion
Overview:
Our top banking client is seeking a Trade Administrator to join the Operations Trade Settlements group, supporting back-office operations for options trading. The role involves heavy use of Excel, primarily focused on data entry and analysis. This is an entry-level role suitable for recent graduates with internship experience in banking or related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the reconciliation and booking of options trades in the settlement process.
- Work closely with the Operations Trade Settlements team to ensure accurate and timely processing of trades.
- Utilize Excel extensively for data entry, pivot tables, vlookups, and other analysis tasks.
Requirements:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field (finance, business, economics, etc.).
- 1 year of relevant internship or work experience in banking or finance.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
