Callahan Property Group, one of Okanagan’s largest property developers and managers, is seeking a General Labourer to become an integral part of our Construction group here in Kelowna.
About the Role
The Construction team is responsible for the development and construction of new buildings. The General Labourer position is key to ensure work sites remain clean and organized, removing hazards and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen.

Primary Responsibilities*
You will be accountable for various construction related activities such as:
- Execute daily work instructions received from the Project Manager in a timely manner.
- Loading and unloading construction materials and moving to work areas.
- Prepare work sites by removing obstacles and hazards.
- Lifting and carrying material, as needed.
- Support carpenters and other skilled labour when necessary.
- Removing debris at work sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
- Perform site clean-up.
- Other duties, as required.
About You
To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable and be a hard worker with 1 year home renovation &/or construction experience preferred.
Your skills include:
- Good physical condition including the ability to carry at least 50 lbs. of material as well as climb ladders.
- Experience using hand and power tools an asset.
A clean criminal record check will be required. References will be requested if interviewed.
