About the opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and experienced working construction foreman to lead a small team of approximately six people for the installation of Mobile Storage systems in Victoria, over a minimum 10-month period, with a two-week onboarding and training period in Calgary.
As Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the projects and ensuring work is performed safely while achieving the installation specifications, tolerances, and timelines. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong construction management skills and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Commitment to safety
- Minimum 8 years construction experience
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Valid drivers license
- Experience with site documentation and reporting
- Physically fit
Specific Experience
Candidates with the following specific experience will have preference.
- Concrete forming
- Concrete and grout pouring
- Survey procedures and equipment
- Precision layout in X,Y,Z using datum points
- Precise levelling and anchoring
- Steel construction and erection
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate with and supervise a crew installing a mobile shelving system
- Take company paid training and stay current existing training
- Manage company assets, equipment, and tools
- Complete paperwork and work orders accurately and timely
- Interface with internal colleagues as well as external clients
- Complete daily safety paperwork
- Operate various equipment (forklifts, telehandlers…)
- Operate various power tools specific to the job
Relevant Education and Trade Certificates
- Millwright
- Iron Worker
- Welder
- Project Management
- NCSO or equivalent

Salary & Expected Hours
- $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
- No less than 40 per week
