We are seeking a Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the coordination and planning of the logistical efforts required to receive, store, ship and deliver our products to customers. Additionally, the Logistic Coordinator will work each day with our customer service and sales teams to coordinate sales activities and client relations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– arrange transportaion and delivery of product to meet customer demand in expected timeframes
– receive supplier product as well as return merchandise items requiring repair or calibration
– document receipt or delivery on software system
– prepare and send accurate and timely invoices
– review freight costs, prices of raw materials to manage costs
– streamline shipping and transportation processes
– maintain a clean and organized shipping area and stock room
– assist inside Sales team with documentation review and customer inquiries
– provide phone backup as required
– develop and maintan strong relationships with customers, suppliers and team members
Qualifications:
– completion of high school diploma
– previous office experience, computer skills (Sage, Act and Word)
– solid communication skills – the ability to read, write and speak English is required
– ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment
– professional interactions with customers, suppliers and delivery companies
– attention to detail, ability to problem solve
– strong organiztional skills and abilitly to multi-task and balance conflicting priorities
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $36,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
