Remote Camp Liaisons
Camp Field Liaisons are trained and experienced camp professionals who are a single point of contact to the Client project management team and prime contractor. The Remote Camp Liaison is responsible for all camp-related matters. Their position is a mix of a proactive and reactive approach and will answer to the Client Construction Manager. They monitor and ensure compliance of:
· Camp scope of work (SOW)
· Client policies and procedures
· Client regulatory requirements
Other duties include but not limited to:
· Support contract administration, change management and logistics planning
· Operations and safety inspections of the camp
· Hosting weekly Camp Committee Meeting
· Tracking camp deficiencies
· Oversight on prime contractor time-out room allocation
· Attending all camp emergency response plan activations.
· Attending morning camp safety meetings
· Attending client morning meeting
· Attending Camp Field Liaison’s morning meeting
· Daily camp room spot check inspections
· Attend all medical and camp incidents and collect all required documentation.
· Collecting daily camp reports
· Following up on all guest concerns to confirm that they have been appropriately addressed.
· Working with client onsite Security consultant to ensure all security incidents are properly documented and dealt with,
· Monitoring the morning lunch pack-up areas and breakfast lines for SOW compliance
· Resident parking violations
· Provide camp reports
Remote Camp Liaisons Qualifications
Remote Camp Liaisons will have the listed qualifications combined with the minimum remote camp-related experience.
Qualifications:
· Alberta Construction Safety Association – Contractor Management (can take after hire date)
· Canadian Institute of Food Safety – Basic FoodSafe training (can take after hire date)
· Standard First Aid & CPR (must have prior to hire)
· Post-secondary education in hospitality management is an asset
· Undergraduate degree is an asset
Experience:
· Remote Camp Liaison will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing remote camp operations.
· Previous supervisory experience in hotel/resort/cruise ship preferred
· Safety experience an asset
· Safety education is an asset
· Experience using windows applications (word, PowerPoint, excel etc.)
· Experience using reservations and logistics software
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4-6 months
Salary: $550.00-$700.00 per day
