Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (USA) Inc. is currently looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join the Supervisory team in Vancouver BC. The successful candidate will need to be registered with FINRA as a Principal. Success in this position requires a strong work ethic and astute reasoning abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Daily and monthly review of employee trading activity
• Review and approval of: New account applications and updates, private placement transactions, employee outside business activities, employee private securities transactions, and security deposits
• Review of Fee Based Managed Account activity
• Provide support for the President and Vice President, National Branch Manager
• Maintain various supervisory databases, records, and documents
• Assist with special projects
• Prepare reports
• Liaison with the company’s back-office operations
• Uphold company policies and regulations
• Other supervisory duties for the department as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 24
• Minimum of 2 year’s registration with FINRA as a Registered Representative
• Ability to be registered as a Principal with FINRA
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong priority management skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• The ability to work well independently
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• A strong work ethic
• Excellent computer skills,
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with Dataphile and NetX360
