DISPATCH COORDINATOR

We are currently looking to add a full-time, permanent Dispatch Coordinator to our team. Someone who is equally passionate about serving the community and achieving operational success alongside our dedicated and loyal employees.
Located at 1115 Cardiff Blvd, Mississauga and reporting to the Operations Manager, the Dispatch Coordinator will provide daily administrative support to our team as required with daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Providing daily support with customer service, both internal and external
Ensure customer expectations and service levels are met
Working in a time sensitive, fast paced environment as part of a cohesive service driven team
Respond to incoming calls and emails
Serve as first point of contact for customers; answer incoming calls and emails
Daily contact with customers regarding orders, pickups and deliveries
Follow up with warehouse staff for outstanding customer paperwork, escalate to Account Coordinator if corrective action required
Respond and comply with other tasks, which may be reasonably assigned during the course of and in addition to the completion of normal duties.
Daily data entry of paperwork, audit of process, to ensure all information is correct, include attachment of pro bills and trip numbers as required
Weekly planning of the highway dispatch, daily planning of local dispatch and other duties as required.
Order entry and customer follow up
Administrative support as required with data entry, order entry
Other duties as required
Core Competencies and Qualification:
Previous 1-2 years of customer service or transportation experience is an asset
Data entry, reporting, administrative experience
Customer service experience via phone or email
Order entry, order taking and data entry experience
Strong communication skills and phone/email etiquette
Fast and accurate typing skills
Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook
Organized and proactive
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Must pass a criminal record check; must be bondable
