LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator.
The incumbent in this role play an important part in making sure we are providing the best customer service experience for our customers. No excuses.
Location: 2864 Norland Avenue, Burnaby, BC
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Building strong long-lasting relationships with our customers and drivers
- Ensuring we are delivering fast communication to our customers
- Providing customer centric logistics solutions
- Notifying customers in advance of any delays and coming up with creative solutions
- Track loads to ensure on-time pick up and delivery requirements are met or exceeded
- Collaborate and offer assistances to other team members in keeping loads on track
- Assist in trouble-shooting carrier specific issues from the point of booking until completion
- Assist in resolving service failures and communicate with team member and team leader
- Provide and support tracking requirements for clients
- Contact and maintain good relationships with carriers
- Ensure all carriers are communicated with professionalism
- Ensure all necessary load information and updates are delivered to applicable team members
- Perform related duties as assigned by Operations Manager
- Deliver the optimal logistical solutions for customers
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Logistics and transportation experience is not required but is an asset
- Detail oriented
- Great communication skills and confidence
- Problem solving skills and ability to multitask
- Can-do attitude
- Optimistic and eager to learn
- Self-starter and self motivated
- High level of mental alertness and move with high sense of urgency
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong computer skills and typing abilities
- Able to pass a background check successfully
