NOTE: This is a remote, full-time permanent, work-from-home position and is open to all applicants from across Canada. We will provide you with everything you need to succeed in your role.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement AI/ML model deployment strategies into production environments
Ensure deployed models and automated pipelines are monitored for uptime, efficiencies, and business impact
Enhance CI/CD pipeline automation to improve quality and reduce cycle time
Constantly scan the ever-changing MLOps landscape to propose improvements
Author and run a MLOps roadmap to realize best practices and increase the robustness of deployed solutions
Write AWS Lambda functions and other related ML scripts (e.g. internal python apps, test automation)
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and Software Engineers
Required Skills:
Expert software development skills; Python is a must
Advanced knowledge in AWS cloud services (e.g. S3, EC2, Lambda)
Proficiency with modern ML frameworks and toolkits; experience using Amazon SageMaker to build, train, and deploy ML models is highly desirable
Cloud data warehouse experience, with a preference for Snowflake
Knowledge of ML models and how they can be leveraged
API design, 3rd party integration, versioning
Practice storing, managing, and deploying container images
3+ years work experience as part of a data science, machine learning, or other software development team
Desire and proven track record of mastering new technologies
Understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and algorithms
