Job Overview
Canadian Cancer Society’s Corporate Partnerships team has the privilege of ensuring the flawless onboarding, management and execution of partnerships with select fortune 500 companies in Canada. Partnering with top corporations who share Canadian Cancer Society’s vision to champion world leading outcomes in cancer prevention, treatment and support through sponsorships, cause marketing and employee engagement is the focus of this revenue generating department.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, New Business Development, Corporate Partnerships, the Corporate Partnerships New Business Specialist will work as an integral member of the Corporate Partnerships team. This role will support all national new business efforts including identifying, prospecting and soliciting revenue driving partnership opportunities from within Canada’s leading industries. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to cultivate relationships, conduct market research, and support the implementation of effective revenue growth strategies.
The successful candidate is a self-starter who enthusiastically takes initiative to collaborate with prospective partners and cross-functional teams to meet and exceed revenue targets while ensuring a best-in-class partnership experience new CCS partners. They are a builder and sustainer of relationships who welcomes opportunities for the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) to grow and enhance its corporate revenue base. With seasoned knowledge of the corporate world, the Corporate Partnerships Specialist will work with teams across the country to deliver innovative and mutually beneficial partnership strategies to help mobilize our internal and external communities in ways that are accessible, engaging and effective.
