Skills and Qualifications
Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent related work experience;
Two (2) years of previous experience;
Fully proficient computer skills (MSOffice);
Extensive operating knowledge of skyline;
Understanding of airline flight network and aircraft types relating to cargo capacity;
Understanding of cargo processes;
Familiar with cargo SLA program;
Demonstrated operational experience, including airport operations, load control, SMS (AQD), etc;
Commitment to excellent internal and external customer service;
Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken);
Self-starter that thrives on excellence and enjoy a fast passed environment;
Ability to communicate in Inuktut a definite asset;
Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Pass in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
Duties and Responsibilities
Interested candidates should be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Communication and coordination of cargo movements with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers and partners;
Develop and generate daily, weekly, monthly performance and quality reports as required by contract or operational needs of the business;
Develop standard operating procedures with the Supervisor, Cargo Operations;
Recovery of cargo movement during IROPs in coordination with the Duty Managers;
Providing cargo logistic support to stations and clients;
Accurately tracking all cargo movements;
Identifying opportunity for efficiencies in cargo movement by working closely with Duty Managers and Network Planning;
Root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions as required;
Reporting and investigating safety related events;
Provide support for movement of Dangerous Goods;
On the job training of new employees;
On-call as required;
Other duties as assigned
