PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This position executes and balances unscheduled car repairs across the system to maintain process fluidity and supports MS car repair and train servicing functions metrics capture and reporting.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Efficient and accurate Incident reporting
Supports the customer reject process working directly with the field / CST ensuring appropriate identification of car Bad Order reasons.
Manages car setoff process working with the OC Transportation and repair facilities
Monitors system Bad Order’s and shop-to-shop dispo’s
Assist Engineering group with projects
Manages on line high idle Bad Order cars.
Manages inbox and provide information to field operations
Manage billing and movement of bad order cars
Interaction with foreign roads as required
Handle database and issues management reports in support of business needs
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
College degree (2 years) or an equivalent to any other 2 year post secondary schooling
Thorough knowledge of Transport Canada / FRA regulations
Five plus years experience in railcar or heavy equipment industries
Strong decision making skills
Strong anlytical/statistical ability
Strong risk evalution skills

Management Conductor Program:
