The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) is actively recruiting for a Manager, Marketing Campaigns to join our Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Department. This is a newly created position, well-suited for someone who is creative, thoughtful, analytical and strategic; someone who is passionate about advocating for the health and well-being of all Canadians through excellence in pharmacist care.
CPhA’s head office is located in the beautiful capital of Canada – Ottawa. All CPhA employees are currently working remotely. This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in Canada.
Job Summary
The Manager, Marketing Campaigns reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing and is responsible for overseeing end-to-end campaign development, execution, and measurement. The role is responsible for supporting, promoting CPhA’s products, services and its partners’ products and services; acquiring new customers, increasing engagement and usage and managing the marketing budget.
Duties and Tasks
Campaign development, management, and implementation
· Developing detailed campaign plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to effectively implement campaigns, closely monitor performance, budget and report campaigns with learnings and improvements.
· Marketing discipline from planning, organization, executing and reporting to draw best practices to optimize campaigns, including budget management and reporting.
· Defining the appropriate marketing mix consisting of lead generation, cross-selling/upselling, loyalty and retention, and engaging campaigns.
· Recognizing opportunities to refine strategies to accelerate funnel progression and increase conversion rates
· Experimenting across marketing channels, audience targeting, creative messaging and executing to test hypotheses
· Managing campaign production, including coordination of events, sponsorship, sourcing swag and enabling activities to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
Content and creative materials development
· Working with subject matter experts to create content that can stimulate user interaction and engagement.
· Supporting efforts to distribute content through email, website, social media, partners and sales channels.
· Providing creative guidance including creative briefs to engage external suppliers.
· Managing the production of visual assets and marketing material, including but not limited to our various channel requirements (web, mobile, social media, print and voice)
· Creating and coordinating print and digital campaigns
· Providing writing support to other team members on online content, such as email marketing and web copy
Media management
· Working with external agencies and media partners as needed to successfully implement marketing campaigns on time and within budget, ensuring return on investment (ROI) and engagement outcomes are prioritized
· Coordination of each channel’s delivery and appearance
· Ensuring consistent messaging across media channels
· Collaborating with and managing third party vendors on sponsored programs supporting lead generation
Research
· Designing, conducting and/or managing research projects
· Translating data-analytics into insights for business and marketing decisions
· Monitoring social media trends, new tools and applications and recommending actions/next steps
Qualifications
Education
Experience
· Relevant and successful experience in marketing and campaign management commensurate with that of the level of Manager
· Relevant and successful experience in digital marketing, in verticals such as financial services, software & healthcare
· Proven track record of developing and managing impactful and creative marketing campaigns
· Experience in digital marketing and channels: paid, earned, owned
· Familiar with marketing automation platforms, such as Pardot, is a plus
Skills
· Ability to work in a collaborative way with internal teams and external vendors
· Ability to build and manage a variety of marketing campaigns
· Strong administrative and management skills, including the ability to organize, analyze and report on data from multiple systems and provide actionable recommendations
· Budget and vendor management related to campaigns and tactics
· Has the ability to work independently, prioritize, and get things done;
· Creative thinking and initiative to analyze performance metrics and make recommendations on content, site design or features to improve effectiveness of efforts
· Strong communication skills – written, verbal and impactful presentations
· A strong people manager, with experience leading, managing, mentoring others
· Ability to display a commitment to and advocate for diversity and inclusion
