Automotive Installer

Job Description:

The Automotive Service Installer performs light maintenance on cars and trucks in the Auto Service Centre. In this position, you will often interact directly with licensed technicians and customers.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

We require the availability to work, evenings, and weekends. The schedule is determined by sales, customer, and business needs, but may be changed by store management based on the store needs. Please indicate scheduling restrictions (if any) on your resume. Reliability and punctuality are a must.

· Perform lube, oil and filter.

· Remove, install, rotate and balance tires, as well as perform repairs.

· Perform minor repairs and inspections that do not require the presence of a licensed technician.

· Service transmissions

· Complete basic tune ups

· Maintain neatness/ cleanliness of bays through regular inspections.

· Maintain professional appearance (uniform, hygiene, grooming & name tag)

· Follow company, store and department policies.

· Follow store health & safety program and observe provincial occupational health & safety regulations; report any observed or potential hazards immediately.

· Participate in meetings and all training, as required.

· Complete other tasks (may not be related to tasks in the shop), as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-45 per week

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
