We are a growing manufacturer of premium abrasion resistant products for bulk material handling systems and metal fabrication looking to expand our team with the additional of this role.
Scope of Responsibility
The scope of responsibility for the Industrial Administrator includes all of the following and others as assigned:
1. Costing – develop costs associated to fabrications and products through assessing drawings to understand required time and materials. Building product costing and customer proposals based on BOM findings. Tracking costs associated with projects and participating in job closure to ensure proper estimates were developed.
2. Customer Service – using effective professional communications with Customers, Suppliers, Senior Management and fellow employees to provide status updates as required.
3. Order Administration – ERP order entry, quotation entries and BOM/job creation.
Specific Responsibilities required of the Industrial Administrator
· Commercial support:
o Compile costings and develop quotes for customers,
o Work directly with production and engineering staff to understand capabilities and limitations,
o Develop customer proposals and project reporting as required,
o Order entry, system administration, job creation,
· Attend and participate within weekly production meeting.
· Review/analyze/summarize production and material costs.
· Communicate to sales staff any factor that will affect our ability to meet customer delivery commitment.
· Act as customer service representative for internal and external stakeholder communications.
