The opportunity
Reporting to CWB Wealth’s Vice President, Advisor Experience & Growth, the Chief Operating Officer (CCO) will be responsible to ensure operational effectiveness and drive business transformation across the firm’s middle- and back-office functions, as well as to lead strategy development and business transformation for certain key business functions and wealth advisory channels.
The COO will provide direct day to day strategic leadership and support to their teams in order to ensure that CWB Wealth continues to provide differentiated and comprehensive private client experiences through professional investment management and sophisticated financial planning.

Successful incumbent
This role requires an individual who is an expert in wealth and investment management operations, with strong domain knowledge in the provincially regulated Investment Counsel/PM channel and Investment Fund Manager (IFM) operations, as well as experience in CIRO channels. The successful incumbent are known for being a strong communicator who has excellent presentation skills.
The incumbent has a track record for building high performance teams, effectively overseeing complex, cross-functional business processes, and integrating emerging best practices and new technology to improve efficiency and support profitable growth.
