Position Overview:
In support of the youth education program, WILD Outside, CWF is hiring Remote Leadership Specialists to work in small communities across Canada and will be responsible for helping to manage volunteers in their region (must reside within region listed above). This program combines outdoor experience with service learning and leadership development for youth ages 15–18 across Canada. Remote Leadership Specialists play an important role as they work to recruit and support local volunteers and leaders in facilitating a variety of experiential activities for youth in small communities across Canada. These activities help aid in the awareness, education, and connection between youth, the outdoors, and their community as it pertains to sustainability and conservation. This is a remote work-from-home opportunity that requires the ideal candidate to be a self-starter. This role focuses on targeting remote/rural communities and will be part of the larger program team that is based out of larger cities across Canada. Remote Leadership Specialists will work under the support and guidance of program management, and will frequently collaborate with the Education, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Human Resources departments.
