Canarm LTD Looking for CAD Designer at Brockville, ON Full Time

Job Description
Canarm Ltd. currently has an opening for a CAD Designer at our Brockville, ON location. The successful candidate will be a member of the HVAC Engineering Team accountable for creating, updating, and controlling CAD models and drawings in accordance with established engineering best practices.

Key Duties

· Design and model various projects using SolidWorks

· Ensure that production drawings, modelling, and detailing are accurate and clearly labelled

· Set up Bill of Materials (BOM), routings and production orders for shop

· Work with sales staff to create product pricing estimates and quotes

· Work with production staff to solve production issues

· Assist with assembly and testing

· Assist with writing manufacturing methods

· All other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager

Minimum requirements

· Proficient in MS Office Applications, Computer Aided Design software including SolidWorks

· 1-4 years of design experience

· Possess excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills

· Able to participate and work effectively in a team environment

· Able to manage time and finish projects within deadlines

· Keen attention to detail
