Inventory Planning Associate Analyst (Hybrid)

As the Inventory Planning Associate Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and monitoring inventory requirements. You will utilize your analytical skills and proficiency with Excel reporting to prepare and consolidate various reports for management related to inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Forecast and maintain inventory levels between warehouses across Canada

Create and maintain master item code and cost for products

Consolidate monthly inventory KPI reports for senior management presentations

Place inventory orders with Canon USA and 3rd Party suppliers, and follow up on shipments and deliveries

Communicate with Sales Admin team on product status and availability

Analyze all inventory cost impacts such as purchase and freight variance, eco-fee reconciliation

Analyze and reduce inventory provisions (non-moving, slow-moving inventory, showroom, and refurbished units)

Ad hoc analysis and other duties as assigned

To Succeed, You Will Need

Post-secondary education in Business Administration

1-3 years of experience in finance or supply chain

Strong time management skills to manage multiple daily, weekly and monthly priorities

Ability to assess previous sales histories and determine inventory purchases

Excellent computer and technical skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel – pivot tables, vlookups and other basic formulas

Good project and process management to assist with departmental projects

Fully bilingual (French and English) is an asset

HYBRID WORK

This position offers a Hybrid work schedule. You will be required to be in the office Mondays and Wednesdays each week, with the ability to work from home for the remainder of the week (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance)

When working from home, a reliable internet connection is required. Remote work is supported with cloud-based applications and collaboration tools
