We are seeking experienced Senior Engineer to join our software maintenance and support team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and support for OSP 10 and Rel 7.7 software products. Your expertise in Corgi, Pacemaker for RHEL HA, Python, git, ansible, and Jenkins/Groovy will be essential in ensuring the stability and reliability of our software offerings. You will work closely with a team of engineers, reviewing published vulnerabilities, and providing support to customers who are using previous versions of our software products!
Key responsibilities:
Provide maintenance and support for OSP 10 and Rel 7.7 software products!
Work closely with kernel developers to address software issues and optimize performance
Maintain a detailed understanding of the software products and their functionality
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement software patches and updates
Contribute to the improvement of software maintenance processes and procedures
Reports about area readiness/quality, and raises red flags in crisis situations which are beyond their AOR.
Required Skills
5 years of experience in OpenStack administration!
Extensive experience in OpenStack including deployment, support, maintenance and trouble-shooting.
Experience in technical customer support related to OpenStack issues.
Knowledge in Python, Shell scripting, Ansible
Knowledge RedHat and Linux
Knowledge in DevOps/CICD
Jenkins, GitHub and other CI/CD automation tools
